Macy ‘Mae’ Fraser (she/they) is the social media editor and a poetry reader for Soundings East. She is an avid writer, lifelong reader, and serial crafter. Their work has appeared in Z Publishing House’s Emerging Poets 2019 series and will be published in a COVID-19 themed anthology with Hobblebush Books. While she’s a ways away from publishing her own book of poetry, she dreams of helping others get their work out in the world. Mae is currently working towards her BA in English and Creative Writing while commuting from their home on the New Hampshire Seacoast.

Matt Perry is the nonfiction editor for Soundings East. He lives in Arlington, MA with his wife and enjoys fly-fishing and gardening. His work has appeared in Worcester Magazine, the SABR Games Project, Frogpond Haiku Journal, the Arlington Heights Neighborhood Haiku Project, and Three Line Poetry.

Kevin Carey is Coordinator of Creative Writing at Salem State University. He has published a chapbook of fiction from Red Bird Chapbooks, The Beach People (2014) and three books of poetry, The One Fifteen to Penn Station (2012), Jesus Was a Homeboy (2016) which was an Honor book for the Paterson Literary Prize, & Set in Stone (2020) all from CavanKerry Press. His first crime novel, Murder in the Marsh, from Darkstroke Books, was released in October (2020).
